Chinese Green Jadeite Ritual Cup, Hongshan Era / Neolithic Period - $3,000 - (Richmond, VA)

An amazingly pale green jadeite ritual cup appearing to date from the Hongshan Era (roughly coinciding with the Neolithic Period). The jadeite is extremely light - to the point that its opacity is almost translucent in spots. A truly unique artifact for any collector. Measures approximately 6 1/2 inches long, 2 3/4 inches wide, and 53 3/4 inches tall. A fairly heavy piece, as well, weighing probably 2 pounds. M-24
