Chinese Green Jadeite Ritual Cup Hongshan/Neolithic [?] - $6,375 - (Richmond, VA)

An amazingly pale green jadeite ritual cup appearing to date from the Hongshan Era (roughly coinciding with the Neolithic Period). The jadeite is extremely light - to the point that its opacity is almost translucent in spots. A truly unique artifact for any collector. Measures approximately 9 1/2 inches long, 4 inches wide, and 5 inches tall. A fairly heavy piece, as well, weighing probably 7-8 pounds. PB1-14
