GIEN FAIENCE Renaissance Fond Bleu Mythical Creatures Cherub DISPLAY / HANGING DISH FRANCE For your consideration, I am offering an exquisite and rare, free-form edging, antique (1960's) Faience Round Dish manufactured by the Gien Faience Pottery Factory in the Renaissance Fond Bleu pattern. Made in France with hand painted mythical creatures along with a center Cupid Medallion with floral border decorate this outstanding dish in blue, gold, brown, green and ivory colors with a deep, rich cobalt blue background. High gloss glaze finish. Approximate measurement is 12 inches in diameter. Base stamp on back the Gien castle in black, France with initials in blue.
