For sale: 2 pounds Cerium Burgundy PR275. Cerium is a rare earth pigment that is very expensive: $40/lb. It is opaque like cadmium, and impossible to get. Absolutely lightfast. Cerium is considered a cadmium replacement, but it's color is not as intense. Mfg. by Neolor (France). I have what is likely the last remaining stock for this particular pigment in the Western world (225lbs). Solvay sold Neolor to the Chinese in 2016. The Chinese version is impure, dirty by comparison, and still selling for around $40/lb. A bargain at this price. Top quality Pigment will be packaged in plastic bags, not in a glass jar as pictured.
