This is a fantastic banjo that has been fully inspected and set up here at the Banjo Warehouse and includes our Full Satisfaction Guarantee. This is a maple all original pot with original nickel hardware that is is also in great shape. The hardware has some light age tarnish on it but still looks great and the wood is in absolutely fantastic condition. This is lighter than normal and the maple also has some figure in it which looks fantastic. This is definitely a well preserve TB-1 tenor banjo that was a great fit for a conversion. The tone ring is a Huber vintage tone ring which is a fabulous ring and gives this banjo a whole lot of pop. The neck is also a Huber neck and is a speed neck with the finish on the back sanded off. The neck has leaves and bows and the frets are in great shape with just light wear on the first few frets. There are spikes at the 7th-9th frets. This is set up and it sounds fantastic and plays like butter. This is the type of banjo that everybody likes and Gibson banjos are doing nothing but getting more valuable!!
