BEAUTIFUL HANDCRAFTED MOUNTAIN DULCIMER by David Honea 27-1/2" VSL instr#735 - $189 - (White, GA)

This is a 4 string Mountain Dulcimer by David Honea, built in the Semi-Hourglass Design. This instrument was handcrafted in my shop in North Georgia. I have built over seven hundred Dulcimers over the last many years. Each of my instruments have a hand rubbed coat of special oil and is buffed to a silky satin finish. They are signed,dated and numbered on the inside and can be viewed through the sound hole. They also feature sealed gear tuners. The sides are Mahogany. The head is Black Walnut. The tail is Maple. The fret board is Cherry and Maple with Maple position dots. The soundboard is book-matched Western Red Cedar. The back is book-matched Mahogany. This instrument is made of all solid wood----no plywood or laminated wood. The sides have been steam bent. Instrument #735. Instrument measures 7" at the widest point. 2" thick. The vibrating string length (VSL) is 27-1/2" from nut to bridge. Overall length is 33-3/4". It also has 6-1/2 and 13-1/2 fret. It is tuned to D A D Shipping is FREE I accept Pay-Pal.
