Vintage topsy turvy unusual cloth doll - $135 - (Bath, ME)

Vintage topsy turvy cloth doll. This is a wonderful handmade folk art 18 inch topsy turvy; a black lady and a white lady made of various cotton fabrics and a delightful colored print (looks like late 1940's-early 50's to me) alternating with turquoise. Yarn hair on both ladies, embroidered faces, very well done with attention to detail. The skirt has a few stains on the turquoise side but it has been washed. A very full skirt gathered on elastic. This one is a keeper.
