Bowed Psaltery Song of the Wood Black Mountain N.C. Fellenbaum Dulcimer w/ Case This listing is for a bowed psaltry string instrument. Manufactured by Fellenbaum Dulcimer Work, Black Mountain, N.C. Measures approx. 19" length, 17" width and 1 1/8" thick. Has a total of 24 strings. Mahogany wood back with walnut sides. Top can be made of spuce, walnut or cherry (this 1 appears to have a walnut top). Bow is mahogany. Listing includes: instrument (strung), bow (unstrung), stand, product information sheet, tuning diagram & song sheet, Kafko rosin & storage case. Instrument came from a local estate. I have not tuned/adjusted in any way. Selling in as-is condition. I do not see any cracks in the wood; appears to be in very good condition. Sold as shown in the pictures.
