This auction is for a fine professional violin made in France circa 1850, branded internally D. Nicolas. This fine old instrument has restorations including a neck graft, a repair to the button, and worm damage on the upper left bout of the top. There are no cracks in the sound post area or any damage to the neck. This instrument Is currently in wonderful playing condition and is a very loud professional instrument. A fine example.
