Vintage Full Size Violin #082718BP4 - $250 - (Iowa City, IA)

This is an old vintage full size violin. The label the says " Nicolaus Amatus Cremonen Heironymi Fil De Antonu Nepos Fecit 1617 " Then under that label says" Made in Germany" The back is well flamed maple, and measures 14 1/16th inches. The violin has a repaired top crack under the chin rest area. The pegs are holding . The fingerboard and other fittings are ebony. The chin rest says Roth Waller No.2. The tailpiece has two fine tuners. The varnish color is darker than the pictures show. It will need a better set up , newer strings etc. Neck angle is very good.
