This is a lovely DuBARRY eggshell Georgian Teapot with matching lid by Homer Laughlin . These Georgian teapots are very hard to find because less of this kind in the Georgian were produced whereas more in nautilus pattern are easier to find!!!! This beautiful teapot has been preowned. There are no chips, cracks, chunks, crazing or discoloration. Circa 1942...USA A42N5. Gold is excellent on footed base, back of handle, spout, rim, and on lid. You can see the line and bead around the outside of the well and also around the edge of the foot. Features swags of little blue flowers enhanced with purple scrolls, yellow and pink florals and gold. Due to age, you may see light gold loss and or/minor trim wear. Measures 8-1-2" tall and 10" spout to handle. This is my favorite china pattern!!!! This teapot will certainly be a "standout" whether with other china, of this pattern, or mix and mingle with other china sets. This stunningly lovely teapot can be used for "generations".
