This is a GORGEOUS Fox Renard Model 222D semi-professional bassoon with the high D key. Fox is the best American maker of bassoons and oboes and in my opinion the _ONLY_ bassoon that an intermediate player should consider buying. Foxs manufacturing is excellent. Intonation is very good, action feels good, and these bassoons sound good enough to play in a youth civic or college orchestra. This particular one is in very good condition. There are no cracks, repaired or otherwise. This instrument is in gorgeous cosmetic condition. Pads and action feel very good all the joints seal well.
