Cats Love Wool !!! - Hand Knit & Felted 100% Wool Cat Bed - New - Gray I hand knitted this cat bed with Briggs & Little Wool Yarn. 13" Diameter and the side is about 3 high. This diameter is big enough for an average size cat. The bed is very soft, fuzzy, thick and sturdy. Of course, my sister's giant toy cat is not included in the sale. I've knit dozens of wool felted hand bags and shoulder bags over the years and my cat had always shown a great deal of interest in the wool. The minute I would set my project down on the coffee table she would claim the project as her resting spot. I wash the bags and cat beds in hot water (felted) three or four times after my knitting is completed. The bed can be machine washed in cool water and should be allowed to air dry. If it's washed in hot water it will felt (shrink) smaller. Hand knit and washing machine felted in my smoke free and pet free home in the great State of Maine.
