SCRAP BOOK Handwritten on inside front cover: "Stanley William Janus October 2, 1940 #Movie Stars#" This is a home made photo collection of screen star legends Good Condition softcover book. Includes about 50 cut magazine photos (many in color) that are not yet pasted in, but are from the same time period. Exterior: Scrap book is factory made. Paper covers with cloth spine. Staple bound. Binding is clean, tight, square. Ink writing on front, plus paste down :"Stanley." Clear tape/tape remnants along side edge of front and spine ends. Side edges have creases, small tears. 3 inch closed tear of the front cover top left corner. "635" factory printed in bottom edge of front and back. Book measures about 15-1/4" high by 10-1/2" wide. Interior: Blank pages have been filled with carefully pasted portrait photos, artfully presented; about 16 pages are still blank; about 62 pages are filled with photos; about 78 total pages. Pictures most likely clipped from newspaper and glamour magazines. Pages are toned, somewhat brittle, slightly wavy. Few page edges have small tears. Clippings are in Good to Very Good Condition. Pictures are single-tone. Several are large portrait size. Contents: Classic faces of Hollywood. This is a very attractive collection of vintage screen stars. A wonderful offer for classic movie lovers, it must be seen to be appreciated.
