White Porcelain Bowl ~ Relief ~ Germany ~ post 1945 bowl is 4.5" tall & 9" diameterdecorated in relief with images of a deer hunt ~ trees, leaping deer, men on horses & hounds circling around the bowl white porcelain - glazed inside, left unglazed on outside marked on base with blue scepter & S beneathMade in Germany US Zone - so clearly made shortly after the end of the war The bowl does not have a stand It has one chip to base (see photo) - this is barely noticeable when bowl is standing (see final photo for close up)there is some feint soiling / marks to outside - may have marked because the porcelain is rough/ absorbent to outsidethese marks will probably come off with cleaning, but I prefer to leave this to purchaser No other chips, cracks or crazing A very special bowl ! will be carefully packaged & shipped with insurance
