Offered for Sale, WWI Model Aircraft Plans - "Seven Sopwiths in 1/4" Scale", from 1960(s) Air Progress Magazine. These out-of-print Plans/Drawings (to 1/4" scale) are the original pages from one of the 1960s issues of Air Progress Magazine, and are in great shape, but the paper is beginning to yellow with age. Each page measures approximately 11" x 8". They are double sided; four pages in all. This set of Sopwith plans titled "Seven Sopwiths in 1/4' Scale" includes all significant aircraft in the Sopwith "Family": 1915 Tabloid; 1916 Pup; 1916 Triplane; 1916 1-1/2 Strutter; 1917 1F.1 Camel; 1917-18 5F.1 Dolphin; and 1918 7F.1 Snipe. This set can easily be copied and enlarged to whatever scale you choose, to design your own model builds. As with most wood & tissue type models, your plans could easily be adapted to include your own details for fueled or electric-motor, indoor or outdoor, large-scale or Micro R/C Flight.
