RARE matched pair of 1940's or early 50's Altec Lansing model A-4 Voice of the Theater speakers. Complete, Loaded, and ready for immediate dependable use. Been using for my home system for the past 10 plus years. Offered exactly as pictured. Includes FOUR 515G HP LF Drivers, TWO model 299 HF Drivers, TWO JBL model 3160 Three Way Crossovers, TWO model 1005 Multi Cell Horns, and of course the cabinets. HEAVY 3/4" Plywood. NO particle board! There are still partial labels. The HP series Altec drivers are not only very efficient, but they will also handle 200 watts per channel. These speakers are AMAZING and rarely come up for sale especially with this killer configuration! I acquired the pair well over 10 years ago from Hans Deitz out of Philadelphia. An Electrical Engineer for RCA. He was responsible for designing some of the last RCA Theater Tube Amps!! Speakers are offered for local pickup only.
