Antique French Aesthetic Movement Black Forest Tray Butterfly, Bird, Water Lily - $399 - (Ramsey, IN)

Dates late 1800's to early 1900. French in origin. This Aesthetic Movement hand carved wood tray features a Kingfisher bird, butterfly, lily pads, and lotus flowers. The attention to detail is amazing, the lotus seed pod even has seeds that are carved separate from tray and they move about when you move the tray. The back of the tray is carved in the shape of a lily pad.Tray measures 16" x 28 1/2". Condition is good. .
