Works well, you could even hook a vintage video game up to this, and take it around in the car! Unit is powered by wall outlet, batteries, or the supplied cigarette lighter attachment. No batteries are included. Previous owner wrote his name on the top of the unit, also it comes with a vintage "Flag" sticker on the side.
