17" to 17.5" medium tree, chocolate brown Spirig Jumping - Close Contact saddle The saddle: This is a beautiful close contact/jumping saddle from the Swiss maker Spirig. Spirig saddles are very high quality saddles with impeccable craftsmanship. This jumping saddle has large front and rear blocks that give you an exceptionally secure leg position over the jumps and makes for a very secure feel even over large jumps. The saddle has a beautiful chocolate brown color, although some of the pics make it look almost black, that's because of the light conditions. The close up pic (e.g. the one of the gullet measurement), show the actual color nicely. The size: This appears to be a medium tree saddle. It measures slightly over 5" dot to dot, and should fit well on a variety of horses with some withers. The seat appears to be around 17.25", perfect for the average adult rider The condition: This is a used saddle in good condition. The saddle has normal signs of wear including small scratches and discolorations, particularly on the seat it is a bit bleached by the sun. Billets are good and the tree appears sound. This saddle will give you many years of use. Get a high quality, used European saddle for the same price as a cheap synthetic or leather saddle from Asia.
