16.5" to 17" MW Kieffer Dressage Saddle Udo Lange The saddle: This is a beautiful, well taken care of Kieffer saddle model Udo Lange. This saddle has all the extras you are looking for. Incredible shoulder freedom for the horse created by the front half panels that will not restrict movement and allow the horse to show you their best gaits and ground coverage. Cut back pommel provides room even for more steep withered horses. Gusseted wool flocked panels in the back with a generous channel running the length of the saddle make the saddle comfortable and easily adjustable by a qualified fitter. The Y girthing setup keeps the saddle in place more securely, and also allows for easier replacement of the leather billets. This saddle has a nice deep seat for security and to aid a balanced and quiet seat and aids. The medium sized knee rolls keep your leg in the right position, and the narrow twist makes riding comfortable. A special feature of this saddle are the knee rolls situated on the underside of the flap, that can be adjusted with velcro. The Size: Deep seat that measures about 16.8", Kieffer size 0Tree size: Kieffer trees can be adjusted by a knowledgeable saddle fitter through heat molding. The saddle is currently approximately a medium wide size. It has a cutback pommel that allows more freedom of the withers and half panels for broad shoulders. It measures approximately 6" across as shown in the picture. The condition: This is a used saddle in good condition. The saddle has been repaired professionally with a small leather patch on the bottom left corner of the insert on the right flap. You can see it in the picture but it is really barely noticeable when riding, since the leg covers it. The saddle has some normal wears of use such as small scratches or scuff marks or discolorations in the leather. The tree appears to be very sound.
