Stubben Military/Trail Saddle - $1,050 - (Glen Rock, PA)
Another great saddle offered by Mason Dixon Saddlery. Up for sale is 19” Stubben Military/police. I’ve talked to Stubben directly and they have no real records or knowledge of the history of this particular saddle. Similar to a Scout or the police saddle model that was once in production. Has a somewhat roomy M tree and overall in good used condition. It does have a few bumps on the cantle, as well as some mystery silver colored (spray?) on the left flap ( see pics) in addition to normal wear. The rigging is centerfire/military style. The leather on the rigging in some spots where it makes contact with the rings is dry but still usable ( again, see pics). I’ve very picky about my leather so I would replace it at some point in the near future, but it can be used currently if the buyer so chooses. It’s definitely a unique saddle and I have never seen another like it. Thanks for looking and be sure to check out our other auctions for more great saddles and tack.
