1939 Kay Orchestral Upright Bass - $2,750 - (Kearneysville, WV)

I'm selling this awesome 1939 Kay Orchestral upright bass. I have been using it steadily for the past year on gigs. As you can see the bass has definitely been played during it's long life and has the battle scars to prove it. Unlike most Kay basses, this one has a fully carved scroll and hat peg tuners. Its a great sounding bass, not the loudest Kay I've ever heard, but the tone is really nice. Comes with an black canvas gig bag. Asking $2,750 or best reasonable offer.
