Seagrave fire engines, book, photos, history, ladder trucks and pumpers. - $60 - (Plymouth, MI)
This Seagrave book is 319 pages of factory photos and period shots. The captions are correct and complete. I went to Columbus, Ohio in 1989 and interviewed 12 former Seagrave employees and interviewed many current employees. I also interviewed Fredric Seagrave's grand daughter. When I saw the first edition of this book top $500 (used) on another website I said, "That is wrong and I can fix it." So I reprinted a few and priced them at what they were when they were new. Sent shrink wrapped, with a lot of bubble wrap in a priority box, for protection. The covers are cloth covered and the book is hard bound, presentation style, and would make a great gift for a book collector, fireman or Seagrave owner. There are around 1,000 photos and sketches, all on photo quality paper. covered are the amount of material needed for replacing the fleet after 9 11/ The book weighs 4 pounds. Limited quantities; get them while they last. Great photos and interesting tidbits of history, at the same price they were a decade ago.
