Antique Victorian Edwardian Rose Gold Filled Locket Ornate Plumes & Swirls W/Pix - $64 - (Mcbride, BC)

This antique locket is being sold as gold filled since it is unmarked, at least where it is possible to look, and I have no means of testing it at hand. It is a pretty rose gold color featuring an ornate decoration of plumes and the like. There is a picture of a young girl. It may be a memento Mori locket. There is a glass enclosure inside which was likely meant for a hair memento. This is a substantial and unusually thick locket as you can see. It still opens and shuts correctly, which is not always the case with lockets from the Victorian and Edwardian eras.
