Neat old 1947 Craftsman 6" wide thickness planer, works great! - $200 - (Marietta, OH)

This is a very neat little (but heavy!) Craftsman planer, mounted on a heavy duty Shop Fox stand. It will plane a 12" board 4" thick and smaller. It is old so there is no power feed but that has never been an issue, it cuts very smooth. The bearings on the 3 blade cutterhead are very smooth. The 1 HP 3,450rpm motor generates over 10,000 cuts per minute. The planer is cast iron so it's a heavy unit. I modified it with a hood for dust collection, this could be removed if you wish.
