Vintage Oil Painting Nautical Ship Maritime Art. This painting was found inside of an old convex bubble glass picture frame dating to the late 1800's. that's why it is shaped the way it is. It looks as though the grey shadowing of the ship was on the board and the artist added the coloring around, not exactly sure. You can see and feel the brush marks on the surface. Very neat old vintage painting. Artist signature looks like: L Rup, LeRup, or LaRup. Measures about 14 5/8" H x 9 1/2"W. Excellent vintage condition.
