Up for sale I have a beautiful trailer mounted MEP-002A military surplus diesel generator.This one is a 1990 model that underwent the full Tier 2 reset in 2007 and currently has just 33 hours on it since the rebuild.If you are already familiar with these machines, you know what underrated powerhouses they are.Rated at 5Kw, this machine will put out a consistent 6500 watts non-stop 24/7 stopping only for oil changes.This one has been fully load tested, serviced and is 100% ready for duty.These are 1800 Rpm, Brushless EMP proof generators, safe for all your sensitive electronics.You will be hard pressed to find another 002A in nicer condition!It comes mounted on the trailer with the bows and top included.The top is in good condition but has a couple small sections where the sewing at the seam is coming apart, but easily resewn.The trailer has surge brakes and the tires are in almost new condition.Trailer still has the original 24V bulbs and military 12 pin connector, which can be easily converted to 12V and a 7 pin civilian plug. Don't get left out in the cold when the snow and ice storms hit this winter. This machine will keep everything running including your electric stove, dryer, fridge, lights TV computer well pump etc.The only thing this generator is not suited for is electric heat and electric hot water. Those 2 loads would require a larger 10Kw generator ( which I also have available ) Buyers are responsible to pick up or arrange shipping. I will prep it and assist with loading if you arrange shipping.Sold without batteries due to shipping restrictions, but I can start it and load test it if you want to inspect it before buying.
