Bow Roller Vintage Yacht Wood Boat Anchor Solid Brass 1938 - $4,800 - (Stanwood, WA)
A rare find indeed, this is an antique anchor, bow roller made in Seattle, Washington between 1928-1938. The foundry that made them has been gone for a very long time. The pivot arm, and hinge are sold brass. The roller is solid bronze. The roller and pivot pins are monel. These were very popular on both power and sail boats. This one is exactly like the one you see in the last picture that is still on a 1938 vessel we recently sold. They are impossible to find. It is 36 inches in length and 6.5 inches wide. The roller is approximately 8 inches in diameter. This could be polished to a mirror finish and add a lot of functional pizzazz to your classic yacht. Please feel free to make your offer. The only offer we cannot consider is the one we don't receive. Have a tremendous day!
