Call for Poster Abstracts: The SHINE Planning Committee is currently accepting poster abstracts. Abstracts are due 12/15/2018. Please email Cindy Taylor (XXXX@wakemed.org) for an application. Poster presenters who are WakeMed Employees are provided a free ticket. Outside presenters are provided a 50% discount. Course Description The 2019 WakeMed SHINE Conference offers evidence-based info for health care providers caring for patients with neurological or neurosurgical conditions from onset through the continuum of care to rehabilitation. Dynamic speakers will present best practice recommendations to promote excellence in patient outcomes. Target Audience This two-day conference is designed for nurses, nurse practitioners, pre-hospital providers, and therapists who care for patients with neurological and neurosurgical conditions.
