For people all around the world, the holiday season represents a time of celebration, reflection, renewal, and a unique spirit of love. Music has played an integral part of the holiday season for generations, and it is our pleasure to invite you to the Ankeny Centennial High School Festival of Choirs! The art of choral singing, or voices singing together, extends back thousands of years. It has been celebrated throughout the ages as a primary method of emotional and musical expression. Long before the arrival of the traditional chorus, people would gather into their living rooms, public facilities, and sacred buildings to spend time singing together. Not long ago, the choral art form was 1 of the most well established ways to spend evenings with friends and family, simply singing. The Festival of Choirs will feature the Ankeny Centennial High School Concert Choir, Centennial Singers Black, Silver, and Maroon, and Cantamus, as well as the Northview eighth and ninth grade treble and bass clef choruses.
