The Chippokes Farm & Forestry Museum displays hundreds of antique items typical of Virginia households and farms in the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. The museum exhibits are arranged in themes to help you walk through farm and rural life in Virginia, from building the homestead and preparing the fields for planting, to everyday life as it was during those eras. You will be amazed at the progression of changes certain tools and housewares have made from times past to the present. Yet you will find others unchanged that we continue to use today. The museum will be closed on Thanksgiving.
