For those of you who may not be familiar, Frank is a true heavy hitter in the jazz world and has been featured on multiple Grammy winning albums. He is also the quintessential gear hound, having amassed a collection of over 500 mouthpieces! He now endorses and plays Jody Jazz mouthpieces exclusively so he is purging some of his massive collection of mouthpieces he has acquired over many years. This auction is for a vintage 'new old stock' neck for a Conn 12M baritone saxophone. These are long since out of production, but this one has never been used. It is in mint condition. There is not a dent, ding, or scratch on it. The lacquer is perfect, and so is the cork. I'm not sure exactly when it was made, but probably toward the end of the 12M run, or maybe even a bit after. This should work with any 12M, but be advised that due to slight variations over the course of the production run, and/or wear to the neck receiver of your horn, this neck might need to be 'fitted' by a professional instrument repair tech. That is just the nature of replacement necks. Never-the-less, this is a great find if you have a 12M bari sax with a missing or damaged neck! Please feel free to email me with any questions.
