Please do not order unless your state is EAST of the river. Thank you! Hardy Pampas, Erianthus Ravenna- Showy 10' tall ornamental grass is cold hardy. Has cascading green leaves in clump form, growing about 6' tall, then topped by a 4-6' stem and feathery plume in late summer, reaching the total of around 10-12' mature. Selling well rooted, 1 qt pots, that have been growing outdoors all summer. Therefore they are more aclimated to outdoor temperature swings and sunlight and are ready to be planted this fall. Will survive well, simply plant and mulch for winter. Easy to grow in average soil, with average moisture. Hardy zones 5-9. Plants will be packed in mositened newspaper and plastic bags and ship well, may have some top growth trimmed to fit in the box. This grass can reseed, but normall is not a problem grass when used in a lanscape where you are mowing around it. Not to be confused with "cortadiera pampas" , or "phragmites" grasses. The first having more colorful plumes, and second an invasive type that many times in seen growing in wet ditch areas. Will combine shipping if possible, contact me for a quote.
