Handsome black gelding seeking loving family - $1,200 - (Parkersburg, IA)

Mozart is a super sweet in our pocket gelding once he gets to know you. He can be a little standoffish at 1st until he begins to trust you. Mo lacks confidence in himself and humans. While we dont know where this stems from Mo would do best with someone with some experience and that wants to work with him. If you try to force him to do something he freezes or tries to get away. If you calmly show him what is expected he will burst his heart to make you happy. He has a stunning floaty trot and would make a very cool dressage or western dressage horse. Needs a person with a quiet consistent hand to make him the gelding he could be. He has nice ground manners but occasionally needs to be reminded to use them. Has been a camp horse for several years now but was a wrangler horse and was not ridden by the campers. He is good on trails and not spooky. Nothing stupid no buck bite bolt kick or rear he is just unsure of himself and needs a consistent person.
