Yamaha CG172SF Nylon String Flamenco Guitar With Brand New Hard Shell Case - $300 - (Atlanta, GA)
I am selling here one of the best guitars for the money I've ever had. It is a Yamaha CG172SF Flamenco guitar. When I purchased it around 4 years ago, the action was a little bit high, so I had a set up done on it to have the action lowered just a bit so as to make the guitar easier to play, but did not lower the action so much to the point where it had fret buzz. So the action and playability of this guitar is ideal, more so than one you would get right out of the factory. I have played it extensively for multiple gigs over the last 4 years, but I was careful to keep it in good condition. It has a few nicks here and there on the body, one which is noticeable just below the bridge, as indicated in the photos. Yet overall the guitar is still in good condition, both from the standpoint of playability, as well as aesthetically. I have thoroughly enjoyed this guitar and the reason I am selling it is because I recently upgraded to an Alhambra, all solid wood guitar made in Spain, so I no longer have use for this one. This guitar did not originally come with a case, but came only in a box. I recently purchased a very nice hard shell case that is brand new for $70, which is why I am selling a bit higher than I would for a used guitar of this model. Therefore the price I have here of $300 with a brand new $70 hard shell case is a very good deal for this instrument. I also just put brand new d'addario normal tension classical strings on it.
