1940S VINTAGE CHRISTMAS TREE TOPPER DOLL - $50 - (Sparta, GA)
This is a 1940s vintage doll Christmas tree topper. I've always loved her because she is nice and old and to me she looks just like the one on the Professor's Christmas tree in the old "Miracle on 34th Street". Her face and hands are good. I have not plugged her in. Her wings are a little bent. Her dress is a little dirty from age. She is about 11" tall. Please see all her pictures and thanks for looking. I remember it is the man that played Santa in the Miracle on 34th St. Seems like he is a professor that has been writing a book for a long time and he has a Christmas tree in his apartment with this tree topper on it. Is it the old version of "The Bishop's Wife"? Is it "The Shop Around the Corner"? I'll just be forced to record and watch all the old black and white Christmas movies until I figure out which movie it is....Oh well.....
