Master Model Evette & Schaeffer Paris France Modele Buffet-Crampon #K14165 Bb Soprano Clarinet Made in 1963 -Model E13 K-Series. Pedecessor to the Buffet R13. Nickel Plated Keys Freshly restored and overhauled by a master woodwind artisan well known for his attention to superb quality, care, and detail. With the lightest of touch and a whisper of breath the sound won't break from the lowest note up. The wood tone-holes and bore have been cleaned of saliva salt minerals, reconditioned, polished, and oiled with natural organic F.Loree Paris oil for grenadilla wood. Intonation and voicing is correct and even throughout. The aged stable wood has never been cracked. All rods and pivots have been micro polished, and oiled with the finest clock oil. Key action is tight, mechanically quiet, and smooth. All body joints, rings, posts, and keys and levers are original and in great working condition. All metal posts, rings, keys, and levers are Nickel Plated. Plating has been machine buffed and is in excellent condition. Included is an original Buffet case. There are no tears anywhere on the covering. Nickel plated case hardware was freshly machine buffed with the clarinet overhaul. Latch, lock, and hinge springs have been oiled. Everything is in good working order. Sale includes one used Vandoren B45 mouthpiece and one Rovner ligature. Both in good condition. The clarinet is shipped well packaged and insured for safe delivery. This is the very best of the Master Models from Buffet's Golden Era. A great player in beautiful condition.
