A great 1960's dinette set + extra chairs by the famous Douglas Furniture Corp. of Chicago. Discovered at a relative's home, in storage for years. Table appears to have a grained Naugahyde-like, or faux leather surface, and is near perfect-oval size about 36x26-we were told that a larger tabletop could be simply laid on top of this too !-table base is a chrome plated pedestal, with the same on all the chairs. Two of the chairs are a bit shorter, with removable cushions. The other four are larger, and cushions are removable with 4 bolts underneath. Chair bodies are a heavy smoked lucite, acrylic material. The entire set is generally in remarkable condition, a couple cushions have some small splits or worn on edge, that can be repaired, if desired. We wiped off the chrome, but it could really be shined to be mirror-like. We have seen similar sets in the past, but not with 6 chairs & in the superior condition that this is. This set would be estimated at selling for $3500. or more in a large metro area or West or East coasts. Get this one cheap from Kokomo, Indiana.
