This is a sturdy Practika tripod adapter that will work with most full size Porro Prism binoculars. The adapter is 4" high. In order to fit on a Porro Prism binocular, there must be a female threaded socket on the bottom portion of the bridge, between the objective lenses. There is usually a decorative cap on this socket which must be removed before screwing in the adapter. This adapter will not fit on most roof prism binoculars as there isn't enough space for the adapter between the object lenses.
