IN BUSINESS for 33 YEARS!! 44 YEARS EXPERIENCE! Brick and mortar to the end! Michigan Guitar Show Promoter since 1989! Semie Moseley introduced the Brassrail models during his experimental period in the 1970s. These guitars had a brass rail running down the fretboard from the nut joining all the frets together, all the way down to the bridge. The brassrail idea was Semie's attempt to make a guitar with superior sustain. A deluxe version was also offered and with a changeable electronics module, accessed via a brass plate on the rear of the guitar. Here we have #7 of only 100 made in 1976 and only 20 to 25 of the deluxe model are known to exist. This # 007 has a 'less crowded' control layout than the first 6 made, featuring humbucker pickups, passive coil splitters with active and passive circuits, and stereo outputs as well. Marcia and I met Semie at the New York Guitar Show in Manhattan, NY. in 1988 2 years after we open our store. Those shows back then were put on in a church basement on Ave A and 8th. down by the village on the lower east side. Those were the days and we still have a huge poster of Semie signed of course hanging on a wall in our store this very day!! Anyway this rare guitar is 1000% original and in VERY good condition. It has the original case and is a 'must have' for any Mosrite collector. We gave the guitar some fresh strings but was all set up from the collector we got it from who finally decided to part ways with it. Not played hardly at all the frets show NO pitting or wear. The finish is SUPERB with 2 small chips at the bottom of the body and some VERY light laquer checking in only a few spots on the top and back of the body. The guitar is in AMAZING condition! There is not even very much honest light wear or aging of the parts at all for a 43 year old guitar. I do not know what else to say except this guitar is just BAD to the BONE!! PERIOD! End of story. What a great way to end the day at the shop. BUY with CONFIDENCE!!! Weighs 9 lbs. …
