Victorian Sewing Tool Oriental Theme Pressed Wood Spool Thread Holder w Lid - $7 - (Norfolk, NE)

Welcome to my auction for this lovely Antique Victorian Oriental Theme Pressed Wood Spool Thread Holder with Lid. It is about 2.75" across x 2.25" tall. There is a brass ring in the center of the lid that the thread slips through. Old tread is included. The outside edge of the holder has different oriental designs in gold gilt that are showing wear. Some chipping to the inside rim of the lid and a chipped spot on the lid, as well as a crack on the side as shown in pic 4. Please photos attached for added detail on this old and unique sewing collectible These items are purchased from estate sales, garage sales, thrift stores and other great places.
