VOX AC100 Super De Luxe JMI 1966 Beatles Model - $5,499 - (Stamford, CT)
This listing is for a vintage 1966 VOX JMI AC100 Super De Luxe amp top and 4x12 speaker cabinet with trolley. Both the cab and the amp have the original grill cloth. The cab cloth does have it's share of snarls and gouges almost as if Pete Townsend got to it with his guitar headstock. Who knows...maybe he did ! The cab has four grey T1088 alnico speakers, all with original cones and sound fantastic. Also both Midax horns are still there and doing the job. The amp top is in perfect working order and is putting out a healthy 115 watts RMS.Still has the original trannies ! It has been recapped and pro serviced back in the 1990s. Cosmetically the amp top is in very good shape and still has the original Amphenol connectors. The set-up has only seen occasional use since I got it back in 1982 but is turned on periodically to keep the caps charged up.
