1966 Fender Princeton Reverb Amplifier Clean - $2,450 - (Painesville, OH)
Up for sale is an original 66 Fender princeton reverb amp in clean condition that's showing some wear from use. The amp is all original except for a reconed speaker, new reverb tank and cables (the bag is the original) and tubes. Overall, the amp is clean but the original tolex shows some wear and the original grill cloth does have a few tiny holes. The electronics are mostly original except for the the screen resistor that I upgraded to a 4 watt and I also added a pair of 470 ohm resistors to each tube, so they did not share the same screen resistor, which is a very weak link in this amp. Since it's most likely going to be used, the mod is a very welcome addition. During the servicing, the typical cleaning of pots, sockets, jacks, along with biasing, voltage checks, etc., were done, so the amp is ready to go when it arrives. The amp sounds great, and performs flawlessly. More pics are available and the amp can be seen locally at our shop Vintage Tone Music in Painesville, ohio. All amps, pickups and speakers are shipped in working condition and must be tested within 72 hours upon delivery for any issues, so an insurance claim can be made on a timely basis with the shipper.
