Vintage Winthrop Royale Genuine Welt Leather Wingtip Mens Shoe Size 8D Burgundy - $38 - (Robstown, TX)

You are viewing a pair of vintage Winthrop Royale Genuine Welt Leather Wingtip, Oxford, brogue shoes Size 8D. These shoes look like a burgundy color to me more than brown. They are pre-owned used shoes. They have some scuffs, light scratching and creases on the vamps. The leather is also wrinkled throughout the shoe. The heel backing shows some wear, but are in good condition. Under the soles they show wear, but the heels is in pretty good condition. I found a picture of an ad from 1951 online with these exact shoes on them so I'm going to say that these shoes are true vintage. I really don't know what year they were made, but I will say 1970s or earlier. The inside soles are in good condition and still show clear lettering. These truly are a gem and in good condition for their age. These would be a great addition to any gentleman's closet. Especially for dress wear.
