Awaiting your purchase is a rare and wonderful sterling silver diadem made around 1905 by the silversmith William B. Kerr of Newark, New Jersey, in an extravagant and fantastic Art Nouveau pattern featuring faces – both grotesque and noble – leaping dolphins, and a riot of curlicue and ornament. The individual sections are linked by silver chains and there are loop attachments to the backs for threading to a belt. This attractive and unusual item remains in excellent antique condition (see condition description) and bears no monograms.
