Antique WM Rogers Silver Plated Footed Water Pitcher with Ice Guard See Pictures - $15 - (Milbank, SD)

For Sale is this Antique WM Rogers Silver Plated Footed Water Pitcher with Ice Guard as shown in the Pictures. Used 9 inch tall about 6 inches across the belly of the Pitcher with some evidence of the age and wear. The Pitcher Weighs over 2 pounds by itself, not cheaply made like things are now days. I see two small dents and also noticed the top of the handle has been repaired what appears to be a long time ago, it appears to have been repaired by a silversmith and soldered. There are surface scratches from polishing. it has quite a bit of patina and needs a good polishing, see photos. Last photos is close up of repair of handle, which I think was soldered. I will leave the polishing up to the new owner, as some prefer the patina and others want a silver to shine.
