1857 PCGS MS63 Snow3 Flying Eagle Doubled Die DDO - $1,700 - (Fairfield, OH)

All pics are from coin to be received, PCGS MS63. Strong doubled die obverse looks to be a early die state of Snow3 as it shows the die scratches running north to south on the reverse, mentioned in Rick Snows 3rd edition atribution book. He mentions a file mark thru 2nd T of STATES looks to start north west of T thru T south east diangonal. Also mentions 2 horizontal file marks above O and F of OF that are aslo there and then the diagonal mark north east of M in AMERICA. I honestly feel this coin was undergraded being a brokenwing variety and not graded as one. I count 3 obverse ticks, 1 obverse rim ding. 1 reverse rim ding and 1 tick on T of CENT. And as you can see there is some dirt still on the obverse could easily score another point with some pcgs conserving.
