While this form exists, finding one in tiger maple with a glorious color and exciting grain is one in 1,000. While highboys with flattops that are tiger maple are seen, ones with the graceful, pedimented bonnet top are rare. This highboy was originally handled by the Levy gallery and the attribution indicates it coming directly from the family to them. It was also illustrated in Antiques Magazine (see images below).
