rare 1906 DIETZ King FIRE DEPARTMENT Kerosene LANTERN - $250 - (Derby, VT)

Here's a very early Dietz KING FIRE DEPARTMENT model Kerosene Lantern. They came out in 1907 and were made into the 30's. They were sold to Fire Departments. It's in As Found condition and is complete and original. They were nickel plated steel and most of the plating has flaked off leaving surface rust on the metal. Original glass globe. The heavy wire protective grate is hinged and swings up to access the wick for lighting. It's a good candidate for a cosmetic restoration. These are hard to find. Free shipping in the USA.
